What are the cast of ‘The Sarah Jane Adventures’ doing now?

Here’s a round-up of what the main cast members of The Sarah Jane Adventures have been up to since CBBC’s Doctor Who spin-off ended…

Sinead Michael

Sinead Michael

Sinead Michael had her tenure on SJA – as Sarah Jane’s sparky adopted daughter Sky – cut short by the show’s cancellation, only appearing in three stories, so did not have the career boost her co-stars did.

However, she can be seen in 2014 British action film Montana, starring Michelle Fairley and Sherlock’s Lars Mikkelsen, as Jess.

Alexander Armstrong

Alexander Armstrong

As well as voicing know-it-all supercomputer Mr Smith, Alexander Armstrong has long been a busy figure on British telly. Alongside hosting popular quiz show Pointless, Alexander has appeared in the likes of Hunderby, Love Life and, of course, he finally fully materialised in the Whoniverse in 2011’s Christmas special, ‘The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe’.

He will also be the voice of Dangermouse in the classic cartoon’s reboot coming up in September.

John Leeson

Having voiced everyone’s favourite robot dog on and off since 1977, John Leeson didn’t let the end of SJA stop him doing so.

Since 2011, he has voiced K-9 on Pointless, Brian Cox’s Stargazing: Live and 2013 comedy skit The Five(ish) Doctors Reboot. This year, Big Finish reunited Leeson with K-9’s original TARDIS team of Tom Baker and Louise Jameson.
