Here’s a look at what the Being Human gang have been up to since leaving the show ended in 2013…
Michael Socha
Former innocent werewolf Tom, Michael Socha is arguably the biggest breakout star of the second generation of Being Human.
Straight after ending BH, Michael cracked the US by getting a lead role on Once Upon a Time spin-off Once Upon a Wonderland as the Knave of Hearts (who is also Robin Hood’s sidekick Will Scarlet – it’s a complicated show). When that series was cancelled after one season, he moved over to the main series to be a regular on OUAT’s fourth season.
Back in the UK, Socha has appeared in Our World War, Undercover and this year returned to one of his earlier roles, Harvey, in This is England ’90. He will next be seen in E4’s new comedy-drama Aliens.
Steven Robertson
Mr Rook might have been a villain – allying yourself with the Devil tends to make you a bad guy – but actor Steven Robertson was credited as a main cast member of Being Human’s fifth season so he deserves an entry here.
Since BH, Steven has done the rounds on British genre shows, appearing in recurring roles in both In the Flesh and Utopia. Most recently, he turned up in Doctor Who two-parter ‘Under the Lake’ / ‘Before the Flood’, written by none other than Being Human creator Toby Whithouse.
Kate Bracken
Sadly the (after)life of Alex the feisty Scottish ghost was cut short when Being Human ended after five seasons, but Kate Bracken’s eight episode stint on the show was enough to launch her career.
She has since hopped over to superhero drama Misfits for a recurring role as Karen, a woman with camouflage powers, and also turned up in two episodes of DCI Banks as well as guest parts in Doctors and Holby City.
Away from acting, Kate also runs a healthy eating website, specialising in gluten-free food recommendations.
