Binge watching television may not be the healthiest hobby. It keeps you indoors, it takes away precious reading time, and will turn your eyes into squares. However, we’re in the golden age of television, and the medium has content that is totally worth it. With series that surpass many books in terms of depth, character and plot development, and longevity, it’s as good a time as ever to sit in front of a screen.
Not all content is created equal, of course, and there’s a lot that is missable. However, some series deserve multiple viewings. With the Audials One software, you can do more than just watch series and movie streams: you can let Audials record all your favorites automatically and in the best quality and watch them also if the streaming service does not offer the episode anymore. The new generation 2018 of Audials software has just been released.
The following 3 series can and should be binged over and over again.
1. Bojack Horseman
The best show about an alcoholic, depressed, former TV-star anthropomorphic horse, Bojack Horseman is nothing short of astounding. In four seasons, it has established itself as not only one of the funniest comedies around, but one of the most poignant depictions of mental illness, addiction, and the stark truths of life.
Season 4 may be the best one yet, with its 12 episodes exploring themes of family, asexuality, infertility, self-destruction, and more. It deserves to be binged multiple times – to catch all the jokes, as well as to get the feels and learn some universal truths.
2. Miranda
Miranda Hart is one of the funniest people alive – and I’m willing to stand by that assertion no matter what you throw at me. Unfortunately, she chose to grace us with only 3 seasons of Miranda. As the eponymous character, she showed us how funny it can be to be terribly awkward. Breaking into song in a job interview, preaching how terribly disappointing the savory muffin is, and turning a therapy session into a farce, there is no shortage of big laughs.
I know some episodes by heart, and they still make me laugh every time.
3. Coupling
Going back in time to the early 2000s, Coupling is a series that should never have ended. Of course, one of the funniest characters left for the fourth season, and it was not quite the same. But Steven Moffat’s genius at creating hilarious confusion, along with excruciatingly funny sexual mishaps, should not be understated. Coupling may not be anything deep or meaningful, but it is truly a comedy masterpiece.
For those who were too young in the early 2000s, Coupling is a must-watch. And if you have seen it before, it’s time to rewatch!
How to watch for free
With a subscription to Amazon, Netflix or Hulu, Audials is the perfect companion. Audials One or Audials Moviebox record all contents for you. Furthermore, they have a universal converter on board, so you can transfer your film gems directly into the right format for your smartphone or tablet and also enjoy them offline. An all in one software solution is only offered by the market leader Audials.
If you do not have a subscription to streaming services, you can use Audials One 2018 to trawl the internet and record videos, series, movies, etc. This is a perfectly legal way of watching copyright-free series and movies (and listening to music) for free. Because you create a private copy, there are no legal pitfalls.
The new 2018 version has some great new features for watching series. For example:
- You can now set Audials One to record batches of movies from streaming services like Amazon and Netflix automatically.
- Only Audials has the automatic series recording function for capturing episode by episode of all contents and saving them for your convenience in separate files
- With the new Dashboard, users receive a better overview and search function for all features.
- With the meta search engine for platforms like YouTube, Dailymotion, Veoh, and Vimeo, you can find new music in a unique universe, supported with artificial intelligence, listen to it and record the music video or audio track in MP3.
