In February 2026, auction house Propstore will conduct an exclusive Doctor Who online auction in partnership with BBC Studios.
The event will give fans from around the world the opportunity to own a piece of television history. With bids starting at £100, the auction will feature over 200 props and costumes spanning the show’s history.
20% of the net hammer price will go to BBC Children in Need, to help make a difference to the lives of children and young people in communities across the UK. The remaining funds will help BBC Studios reinvest in the storage and preservation of thousands of historic Doctor Who props and costumes, ensuring the show’s heritage is protected for future generations.
Out of the 200 lots, bidders will have the chance to own the bronze Time War Dalek first introduced to the series in 2005 and in multiple episodes since. The Dalek up for auction was used in Matt Smith’s final series opener, Asylum of the Daleks.
