The special will air before the channel premieres the show’s final episodes.
As the UK finally catches up with the finale of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, which aired stateside last September, broadcaster E4 is marking the moment. The channel has commissioned a one-hour special, set to air before the show’s final double-bill.
Goodbye Brooklyn Nine-Nine promises to celebrate in the show’s best moments and explore its phenomenal success. During the hour, we’re promised contributions from the show’s cast and crew; stars Andy Samberg, Andre Braugher, Terry Crews, Melissa Fumero, Stephanie Beatriz and Joe Lo Truglio will all appear.
Regular guest Craig Robinson, who plays the Jake’s long-term fremeny Doug Judy, will also have his say along with the show’s co-creator/executive producer Dan Goor and its composer Dan Marocco.
From a UK perspective, “super fans” Nish Kumar and Catherine Bohart are going to be sharing their thoughts on their favourite moments.
Sadly, the show does not involve Brooklyn Nine-Nine groupie Jodie Whittaker; the Doctor Who star famously engineered a joint photo with the cast of her favourite show at a Comic Con back in 2018. She also enthused about the show in interview:

Doctor Who meets Brooklyn Nine-Nine – that would have been some crossover!
Goodbye Brooklyn Nine-Nine will air on Wednesday 8th June at 8pm on E4 and All 4. The show’s two-part finale, ‘The Last Day’, follows from 9pm.
