In its early stages, cryptocurrency was largely unknown to the public. Due to their nature, many people first found it challenging to understand them, let alone invest in them. However, as their reputation grew over time, cryptocurrencies started to gain speed. In the past, only engineers, developers, and business owners made investments in them. However, cryprocurrencies have penetrated into many sectors including the online casino sector. As a result, casino players can wager using cryptos such as Bitcon. A popular example is Ignition Crypto Poker which allows poker players to wager using Cryptocurrencies. Moreover, cryptos have also become acceptable in several eCommerce platforms.

When Bitcoin was first introduced, few people thought it would grow into what it is today. More programmers became millionaires as it reached 60,000 USD, making it more popular among them. However, other movie stars decided it was worthwhile and invested in it, which was unquestionably smart.

Tom Brady

Tom Brady showed his support for the cryptocurrency market in May 2021 by using Twitter to display his new Twitter avatar with laser eyes. Although the Bitcoin market is unstable, there was a noticeable decline after Brady declared his support for it. He was referred to as the “Bitcoin bull” because his announcement caused a noticeable decrease in investment.

Mike Tyson

Mike Tyson is a well-known boxing champion who has also made a name as an actor. He has also featured in documentaries such as Bruno v Tyson, a documentary that profiles Frank Bruno. According to reports, he was among the first celebrities to appreciate the potential of Bitcoin. Moreover, he also partnered with Bitcoin Direct to offer a BTC mobile wallet.

Snoop Dogg

Snoop Dogg began as a rapper before joining the acting industry. He has featured in many top-rated films and joined the crypto world in 2012 including a voice cast in Turbo which hit the cinemas in 2013. He sold each poster album for around 0.3 Bitcoins which translates to approximately $14000. However, Snoop Dogg has not revealed how many albums he has sold. Furthermore, he has not made public how many BTC he owns.
