Lana Washington and her team return for another race against time. 

Back in October, ITV confirmed that its bomb disposal drama Trigger Point would return for a third season. Now, as filming begins, we have a the details.

Naturally, the action is led by Vicky McClure who plays Expo Lana Washington.

Joining her, the returning cast are Eric Shango (On The Edge), Nabil Elouahabi (Unforgotten), Natalie Simpson (North Sea Connection) and Maanuv Thiara (DI Ray).

Here’s the synopsis for Trigger Point series 3

Series 3 sees Lana Washington and her team investigate a bomb threat that soon reveals itself to be the start of a sinister vendetta: someone is targeting individuals and demanding revenge. Working alongside the Police Counterterrorism Unit, the Bomb Disposal Squad race against time to find the bomber before they claim their next victim.

Joining the show for the new run is guest star Jason Flemying (Pennyworth, Primeval).

The new season comes from writer Chris Brandon (Bloodlands). The directors are Jamie Donoghue (Doctor Who) and Audrey Cooke (DI Ray), the series producer is Kristian Dench (Red Eye).

The show is produced by Jed Mercurio’s HTM Television.
