Coming September, Ada Twist, Scientist has a trailer and it tells you everything you need to know about the new series

One for the younger Cultbox fans (or perhaps their parents and/or guardians), Ada Twist, Scientist is a new animated series coming to Netflix September 28. It’s part of the set of series under the auspices of Barack and Michelle Obama, and tells the fun adventures of young Ada. In what we assume is an accidental nod to Viz Comic character naming, Ada is supported by Rosie Revere, Engineer and Iggy Peck, Architect.

Here’s the logline:

Get ready for science with a twist, Ada Twist, Scientist! Solving mysteries with science is always a blast when Ada’s on the case.

As you might imagine, the show is packed (if the trailer is a true indicator) with upbeat positive messages for younger viewers, but might just help inspire an interest in STEM subjects, and it it can help with the gender imbalance in the field, that’s no bad thing. We’ll even enjoy the Brainstorm song (though we prefer the Hawkwind song of the same title, or even the Arctic Monkeys, but we digress) if it helps get more future engineers and scientists to start the journey.
