The Man in the High Castle, The Grand Tour and American Gods are among the most downloaded series on Amazon Prime, according to a newly released list.
Today is Amazon’s annual ‘Download Day’ – the day in the year when UK audiences apparently download the most content to watch later offline, presumably due to long plane journeys.
Original series Sneaky Pete is also on the list, along with Black Sails, Vikings, Lucifer and The Walking Dead. More surprising additions are now-over Parks and Recreation, and Peppa Pig (again, anyone with kids knows the value of on-demand Peppa during a long-haul flight).
It’s no wonder Amazon is touting these figures (although specific numbers are still under wraps), as the ability to download content to watch later is one of its big perks compared to rival Netflix.
