It’s nearly time to trade St. Marie for Shipton Abbot and follow DI Humphrey Goodman and his team.
With the current series of Death in Paradise inching towards its series finale, our attentions naturally turn to the sleepy fishing town of Shipton Abbot.
It’s home to the Paraverse’s UK based spinoff, and we now know when Beyond Paradise series 3 will return. The BBC has confirmed that the new run starts on the evening of Friday, 28th March 2025.
By our calculations, that’s the evening that Death in Paradise series 14 wraps up its current run. Episode 7 lands on the 14th March, but then the show skips a week due to Comic Relief on Friday 21st.

Not that Red Nose Day 2025 is Paraverse free, thanks to a Not Going Out/Beyond Paradise crossover sketch!
Beyond Paradise series 3
Last week, we were teased with a bumper list of guest stars, including Hugh Dennis (Outnumbered), Kevin McNally (Doctor Who: Flux) and Caroline Quentin (The Lazarus Project).
Across the new six-part run, we’re promised more baffling cases – they include a body discovered in a river on the county border, a perplexing chocolate box poisoning, a long-standing farming feud, and a spiking incident at sea.

On the personal front, Esther (Zahra Ahmadi) experiences a surprising twist in her personal life, Anne (Barbara Flynn) confronts painful memories following a health scare and Kelby (Dylan Llewellyn) embarks on a transformative journey of self-discovery.
Also, Martha’s old flame Archie (Jamie Bamber) is back, and Humphrey and Martha take on a new fostering placement.
Beyond Paradise comes from Red Planet Pictures for the BBC and BritBox International. Series 3 lands on BBC One and BBC iPlayer at 8pm on Friday 28th March, 2025.
You can find the show’s previous two series and Christmas Specials on the iPlayer too.
