HBO has released two brief clips from the new season of Game of Thrones, featuring Jon Snow and Mance plus Brienne and Podrick.

Season 5 begins in the UK at 9pm on Sky Atlantic on Monday 13 April, airing less than 24 hours after the US premiere.

The opening episode will receive its world premiere at the Tower of London later this month.

Season 5’s new cast members include Alexander Siddig as Doran Martell, Jessica Henwick as Nymeria Sand, Rosabell Laurenti Sellers as Tyene Sand and Keisha Castle-Hughes as Obara Sand.
