The official music video for British singer and songwriter Sam Smith’s SPECTRE theme song has appeared online.
The upcoming 24th James Bond adventure arrives in UK cinemas on Monday 26 October and in the US on Friday 6 November.
Co-written with Jimmy Napes, Sam Smith’s ‘Writing’s On The Wall’ made chart history last week by becoming the first 007 theme song to reach Number 1 in the UK.

Smith told BBC Radio 1: “Out of all the songs I’ve brought out in my life, I was not expecting this to even chart in the Top 10, let alone Number 1. It’s unbelievable.”

‘Writing’s On The Wall’ is the first Bond theme song to be recorded by a British male solo artist since Tom Jones sang ‘Thunderball’ in 1965.

The official synopsis for SPECTRE reads: “A cryptic message from Bond’s past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organisation. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE.”

Alongside returning regulars Ralph Fiennes (M), Ben Whishaw (Q), Naomie Harris (Miss Moneypenny) and Rory Kinnear (Tanner), the cast includes Monica Belluci, Lea Seydoux, Dave Bautista and Christoph Waltz, with Sherlock star Andrew Scott.
