The BBC has confirmed when we’ll be getting the second series of Jess Brittain’s hit psychological thriller, Clique. And the good news is that it’s just days away.
The new run of the show will be available on BBC Three from Saturday November 10th – this Saturday coming – and it looks as if all episodes will be available from that day.
A synopsis has been released for the first episode of the new series, too. Said synopsis reads…
Holly (Synnove Karlsen) is back for her second year of university, living with her friend Louise (Sophia Brown) and two new younger students – Rayna (Imogen King) and Fraser (Stuart Campbell). Rayna and Fraser are enthralled by Holly and her part in exposing the corruption at Solasta last year. However Holly finds their unwanted attention uncomfortable and just wants to keep her distance and move on.
Holly meets a group of boys who aren’t afraid to challenge their university peers and call out figures of authority. She finds herself drawn towards this new Clique, led by the enigmatic Jack (Leo Suter). There is something strange and dangerous about them that attracts and repels her in equal measure. But a shocking event will make it impossible for Holly to stay in the shadows.
Good stuff. No decision has been made, that we know of at least, about a third series as of yet. We’ll keep you posted, though.
