Not since Intergalactic Friendship Day has there been such an intriguing Doctor Who/Star Trek crossover.

In a brief moment in the Star Trek: Strange New Worlds episode, The Sehlat Who Ate Its Tail, the TARDIS appears alongside the USS Enterprise, both trapped inside the Astrovore.

The crew of the Enterprise starship must fight their way out of a star, planet, and ship-eating monstrosity known as the Astrovore, Asaasllich, Destroyer of Worlds or Chach-Ka, “The Annihilator” to Klingons. And so must the Doctor, it seems.

It would seem the best way for the TARDIS to escape is to piggyback on an Enterprise Nacelle.

In a delightful nod to sci-fi fans, the subtle and brief appearance of the TARDIS in the background of an episode of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds serves as a charming Easter egg, bridging two iconic universes with a wink to the keen-eyed viewer.
