Amanda Reynolds’ book Close To Me is coming to Channel 4, with Connie Nielsen and Christopher Eccleston starring.
Newly announced from Channel 4 is the thriller Close To Me, that it’s producing in conjunction with the firm Viaplay. What’s more – as you’ve probably guessed from the headline – Connie Nielsen and Christopher Eccleston have been lined up to star.
It’s based on the novel by Amanda Reynolds, and it’s set to be a six part drama, that follows a seemingly very happy couple. There’s Nielsen’s Jo, married to Eccleston’s character, and all seems to be going well. Then, a year vanishes from Jo’s memory, and the story goes on from there.
Filming is set to become soon on the drama, and the plan is to get it to the screen in 2021.
