Netflix has released a teaser trailer for Dark. The online streaming service has slated the German language 10-part Netflix Original to drop on the 1st December. Comparisons have already been made between the show and Stranger Things. It will keep people busy during the Christmas period and already has people intrigued.

This is not the first time Netflix have released a mini-series that draws parallels to the popular nostalgia phenomenon. Last Christmas, The OA’s 8 episodes dropped on 16th December to mixed reviews. It starts strong, but a lot of the set ups don’t have a pay off and the show has a controversial ending that some didn’t like. Despite this, The OA has been renewed for a second series that is still awaiting an air date.
