As we reported over the weekend, there’s going to be a Doctor Who panel at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, taking place later this month. The panel will feature Peter Capaldi and Steven Moffat amongst others, and you can read more about it here.
But, in the midst of BBC America’s announcements, seems to be the name of the Yuletide episode. The one that will star Peter Capaldi alongside David Bradley.
For Doctor Who News (a reliable outlet, we should note) seems to have a slightly different variant of the announcement that we picked up over the weekend, and in its report, it reads: “Moderated by Chris Hardwick, the panel will give fans an exclusive sneak peek of The Doctors – the final special starring Peter Capaldi as the Doctor and written by lead writer and executive producer Steven Moffat”.
Which would suggest that The Doctors is the name of the episode. None of this, of course, has been confirmed. But given the fact that we know at least three Doctors are going to be turning up in this one, it would make sense. Steven Moffat is writing the episode, that’s just about wrapped up filming.
Confirmation when we get it…
