The pair will star as a married couple who relocate for a fresh start. 

Thanks to Deadline and The Herald, we’ve learned that Martin Compston (Mayflies) is Glasgow bound.

His next project, Fear, is based on Dirk Kurbjuweit’s German bestseller and co-stars Anjli Mohindra (The Lazarus Project).

Fear

A three-part psychological thriller, Fear tells the story of a family who leave London for a fresh start. Martyn (Compston) and Rebecca (Mohindra) move into a beautiful house in Glasgow with their two young children.

At first the new home seems idyllic, but when neighbour Jan (Solly McLeod) makes unnerving comments to Rebecca it turns out to be the start of something far more intimidating.

The cast also includes, James Cosmo (Game of Thrones), Solly McLeod (Tom Jones), Maureen Beattie (Deadwater Fell), Daniel Portman (Black Mirror), Anneika Rose (Crossfire) and Bhav Joshi (The Diplomat).

Fear comes from writer Mick Ford (After The Flood), based on Dirk Kurbjuweit’s book of the same name. The series is produced by Wild Mercury (The Rig) and Capricorn Productions, for Prime Video.

The show is expected to land on the streamer in 2025 – we’ll keep you posted.
