The BBC has released a new image of Colin Morgan in his upcoming supernatural drama The Living and the Dead.

Colin Morgan (Merlin, Humans) and Charlotte Spencer (Glue) lead the cast of BBC One’s spooky new six-part series from the creators of Life on Mars and Ashes to Ashes.

Set in Somerset 1894, The Living and the Dead begins on Tuesday 28 June on BBC One.

When a pioneering Victorian psychologist and his vivacious young wife are brought back to the family estate after the death of his mother, he is soon faced with one disturbing case after another.

Are all these strange events linked merely by coincidence, or is there something more sinister – more supernatural – going on at Shepzoy?
