It’s a nice and accurate adaptation based on the beloved book by Terry Pratchett & Neil Gaiman.

While we’re still enjoying the second television series of Good Omens, Neil Gaiman has announced that the original story is coming to another medium.

First published in 1990, Good Omens was a collaboration between authors Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman. The story follows the angel Aziraphale and the demon Crowley as they attempt to avoid the impending Apocalypse on the horizon. There’s also the small matter of a missing Antichrist…

The novel’s adapter is Colleen Doran, a multi-award-winning illustrator who is a long-term Gaiman collaborator. Together, they’ve worked on projects such as Chivalry, The Sandman, and Snow, Glass, Apples.

Her credits include work on Amazing Spiderman, Guardians of the Galaxy, Captain America, Wonder Woman, and many others, as well as the art for Stan Lee’s autobiography Amazing, Fantastic, Incredible Stan Lee.

Work on the Good Omens graphic novel is being funded by a Kickstarter. It’s already wildly over-subscribed with numerous stretch goals and all manner of goodies to unlock. A quick scan down the various tiers revealed exclusive artwork, enamel pins and even socks!
