Channel 5 has yet to announce a premiere date for season three of US comic-book series Gotham, and UK audiences were beginning to wonder whether they’d ever get to see it.
Well, now it’s being reported (via Geektown) that the DVD/Blu-ray release of the show’s third season will actually come before the television air date – 28th August, to be exact.
That’s good news and bad news, because at least now it’s been confirmed that audiences languishing over here across the pond will be able to legally get their hands on the episodes, but they’ll have to hand over cash to do so.
Apparently this delay isn’t Channel 5’s fault, however, with mysterious outside forces blocking them from airing the episodes as planned. According to the report, the channel hopes to show more Gotham in the autumn, which puts them at about a year delay.
More as we here it.
