Tomorrow at San Diego Comic-Con, attendees who visit the Doctor Who panel are being promised a sneak peak at this year’s Christmas special episode. The episode, of course, that marks Steven Moffat and Peter Capaldi’s respective departures from the show, and Jodie Whittaker’s entrance.
But what is that sneak peak likely to be, and will it land online?
Well, Rachel Talalay – who has directed the Christmas special – has taken to her Twitter account and teased that we may be getting footage from the Yuletide episode..
Rumours of teaser/footage from Xmas episode quite possibly correct. https://t.co/v7Q82rMbyk

Furthermore, unlike previous Comic-Con Doctor Who footage, it seems there’s a chance that what the crowd in San Diego see, the rest of us will get to see too…
I also heard whispers (unconfirmed) that DW Comicon footage will spread past San Diego on Sunday. “We can only hope”

Also expected as part of the Doctor Who panel is the name of the Christmas special. Contrary to initial reports, including our own, it’s now not expected to be called The Doctors.
More as we get it…
