Eureka Entertainment has put a call out to fans of Grange Hill, in the hope of finding some old scripts for a DVD release. The right collector might be able to help them out.
The UK-based distributor posted this Tweet, in the hopes of finding the scripts to Grange Hill series 5 and 6…
Calling all fans of GRANGE HILL! We are trying to put together a DVD release of Series 5 & 6 but the scripts, required for creating the SDH subtitles, are missing! If you are a collector, have acquired copies, and can help? Please contact us grangehillscripts5and6@gmail.com pic.twitter.com/mCKGvCWh3M

The scripts are needed to create the Subtitles for the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing (known in the industry as SDH). A fan with the scripts to hand would be able to help complete this DVD release and make it accessible for everyone. If you can help, get in touch with the Eureka Twitter account and let them know.
DVD releases already exist for series 1-2 and series 3-4, but this would mark the first DVD release for series 5-6. Here’s hoping that a fan with the right collection of scripts gets in touch, and helps this classic school-set series to find a new audience.
We’ll keep you posted as we hear more.
