The writers of Channel 4’s Humans have revealed that they have plans for a second season and beyond.
The new sci-fi drama, which began last month, is set in a world with life-like humanoids called ‘Synths’.
Asked about their hopes for the future of Humans, Sam Vincent and Jonathan Brackley told Den of Geek: “Six seasons and a movie! No news on a second season at the moment. We can’t put a number on it but it feels like there’s huge scope to grow the story world and move things on.”
The writing duo, who also penned this summer’s Spooks movie, added: “The show takes place at the intersection of humanity and technology – it’s such a rich and relevant place that the stories aren’t going to dry up anytime soon. We can certainly see multiple series.”
