ITV has moved its new crime drama, Bancroft, to a slot in early December, it’s been revealed. The show was originally set to premiere on ITV Encore, but when ITV One put back its Hatton Garden drama – starring Timothy Spall – to next year, Bancroft found itself promoted.
As such, the show will feature Sarah Parish as a DCI on the hunt for promotion. She’s joined by Faye Marsay as a new officer, who shares the same level of devotion to the job. Both, we’d wager, hold secrets.
Overseen by former Doctor Who producer Phil Collinson, Bancroft will start on Monday December 11th at 9pm, and run on consecutive nights that week.
