Channel 4 announced the start date for its two-part Labyrinth adaptation, based on author Kate Mosse’s best-selling adventure thriller.
Labyrinth takes a journey through the south of France of the present, and the dark and tortured landscape of the Crusades and Cathar massacres of medieval times.
Episode 1 will air at 9pm on Saturday 30 March, with the concluding episode airing at 9pm on Sunday 31 March.
The cast includes Katie McGrath (Merlin), John Hurt (Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy), Tom Felton (Harry Potter), Sebastian Stan (Captain America), Jessica Brown-Findlay (Downton Abbey), Vanessa Kirby (The Hour), Emun Elliot (Game of Thrones) and Janet Suzman (Nicholas and Alexandra).
Speaking exclusively to CultBox last year, Merlin actress Katie McGrath described the shoot as “hardcore” and promised that “the fight scenes are massive and epic”.
