Our Girl star Michelle Keegan is apparently in talks to appear in a future Pirates of the Caribbean movie with Johnny Depp.
Now! magazine reports that Keegan has been in Los Angeles to chat with producers about a role in the franchise.
The role would be in the sixth Pirates of the Caribbean movie, which is due to begin filming in 2018, rather than this year’s Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, which has already completed production.
Featuring Skins star Kaya Scodelario alongside Javier Bardem, Brenton Thwaites, Geoffrey Rush and Orlando Bloom, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales arrives in UK cinemas this summer.
Scodelario recently told DS: “It [does have] a lot more of the first movie, that’s what they wanted to bring it back to. [The producers] want to take it back to the beginning again. They wanted it to have this epic journey, and for it to make sense, and for it to tie things up, and also lead to new storylines.”

Michelle Keegan will next be on our screens in three-part drama series Tina and Bobby, which begins on ITV tonight.
The former Coronation Street actress is also expected to begin filming the new season of Our Girl for BBC One later this year.
