BBC America has renewed clone drama Orphan Black for a third season.
Starring Tatiana Maslany as multiple characters, the sci-fi series will return for 10 new episodes in spring 2015.
Season 3 begins filming in Toronto in September.
Co-creator John Fawcett told the The Hollywood Reporter last month: “A lot of the things that we put in motion at the end of Season 2 are obviously big story components going forward and new pieces to the puzzle.”
He added: “We believe in giving the audience answers, but we have our mysteries and we want to earn the answers. This is kind of a new aspect to the larger puzzle that is Orphan Black.”
Orphan Black won a Peabody Award this year and lead actress Tatiana Maslany has received two back-to-back Critics’ Choice Awards for Best Actress, a TCA Award for Individual Achievement, a Young Hollywood Award, a Gracie Award and Golden Globe® and People’s Choice nominations.
Season 2 concluded in the UK on BBC Three earlier this month.
BBC America has also announced that they will air Series 2 of Broadchurch in the US in 2015.
