Sky Atlantic has renewed Penny Dreadful for a third season.
Created, written and executive produced by Skyfall writer John Logan, the period horror drama launched in May 2014 and Season 2 is currently airing in the UK at 9pm on Tuesday nights on Sky Atlantic.

A co-production with US channel Showtime, nine new episodes will be filmed on location in Dublin and will air next year.

Penny Dreadful stars Josh Hartnett, Timothy Dalton and Eva Green and brings some of literature’s most terrifying characters together in Victorian London. The supporting cast includes Helen McCrory, Simon Russell Beale, Billie Piper and Rory Kinnear.
