SPOILER WARNING…

According to the Radio Times, actress Caitlin Blackwood will reprise the role of Amelia Pond in Episode 11 of the current series, which airs at 7.10pm on Saturday 17th September.

Blackwood has already appeared this year in ‘Let’s Kill Hitler’ and made her first appearance in 2010’s ‘The Eleventh Hour’. Also featuring in the episode are actress Amara Karan (The Darjeeling Limited), former Grange Hill actor Dimitri Leonidas and comedian David Walliams. The Little Britain star plays a submissive mole-like alien called Gibbis, from a planet where the whole population is designed to be afraid.

‘The God Complex’ is written by Being Human creator Toby Whithouse, who previously penned ‘The Vampires of Venice’ and ‘School Renunion’.

According to the Radio Times, the episode sees the TARDIS land in a “kitsch 1980s-style hotel where all is not quite what it seems”. The Doctor, Amy and Rory encounter “moving walls, twisting corridors and rooms containing deadly nightmares tailored to fit each visitor”.
