The biggest Rocky Horror 40th anniversary party in the world will take place in London next month.
A special gala screening at 7pm on Tuesday 27 October will see Patricia Quinn – star of the original 1975 movie – present the cult classic in all its glory at the Royal Albert Hall.
Lucy Noble, Director of Events at the Hall, commented: “Rocky Horror is a cult phenomenon like no other, and we can’t wait to welcome cast members and fans alike to this very special, one-off celebration of a deliciously twisted confection.”
She added: “It’s set to be an unforgettable evening for everyone involved.”
Based on his hit West End play, Richard O’Brien’s comedy horror musical stars Barry Bostwick and Susan Sarandon as newly engaged couple Brad and Janet, who take refuge in a castle run by flamboyant transvestite Dr. Frank N. Furter (Tim Curry), resulting in sex, spoofery and a host of unforgettable songs, from ‘Time Warp’ to ‘Sweet Transvestite’ to ‘Hot Patootie’.
Tickets are on sale now on the official website.
