Sci-fi fans can see some of the most iconic movie themes of all time performed live by the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra in London next summer.
Featuring “a voyage through a galaxy of favourite music from deep space and beyond”, with lights, lasers and fireworks, the Space Spectacular comes to London’s Royal Albert Hall from 16 to 17 June 2017.
Conducted by Anthony Inglis, the concert will showcase famous works by Holst, Strauss and Oscar-winning film composer John Williams, including music from Star Wars, E.T., Superman and Close Encounters of the Third Kind.

Other highlights will include the themes from Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica, Thunderbirds and Apollo 13, plus Sherlock composer David Arnold’s music from Independence Day.
