Following his roles as Lucas North’s nemesis Vaughn in Series 9 of Spooks and Father Octavian in Series 5 of Doctor Who, Iain Glen will play Sir Richard Carlisle in the show’s eight-part second series.

Zoe Boyle (Sons of Anarchy) will play new character Miss Lavinia Swire, alongisde Maria Doyle Kennedy (The Tudors) as John Bates’ wife Vera, Amy Nuttall (Hotel Babylon) as new housemaid Ethel and Cal Macaninch (Wild At Heart) as Lang, a new valet.
