Star Trek: Picard series gets official title, logo and image

The upcoming Picard-centric Star Trek series from CBS All Access now has a title, a logo and a first teaser image. You can check them all our right here…

The show, which is set to air on Amazon Prime Video here in the UK, is officially going by the title everyone predicted: Picard. 

Patrick Stewart is reprising his role as Jean-Luc Picard, which originated in Star Trek: The Next Generation, in this new series.

This first image of Stewart back in the role has been doing the rounds online…

A logo for the show has also been revealed, which you can see in this short video from Twitter…

Also, Stewart himself has said this about the project…

“During these past years, it has been humbling to hear many stories about how The Next Generation brought people comfort, saw them through difficult periods in their lives or how the example of Jean-Luc inspired so many to follow in his footsteps, pursuing science, exploration and leadership. I feel I’m ready to return to him for the same reason — to research and experience what comforting and reforming light he might shine on these often very dark times. I look forward to working with our brilliant creative team as we endeavor to bring a fresh, unexpected and pertinent story to life once more.”
