Priced £12.99, The Brilliant Book of Doctor Who 2012 is “our indispensable guide to Series 6 of Doctor Who“, with previously unseen photographs, original artwork and illustrations.
The book will feature brand new material from Mark Gatiss, Gareth Roberts, Matthew Graham, Tom Macrae and Steve Thompson, along with exclusive extras from Neil Gaiman. There’s also new revealing interviews with cast members Matt Smith, Karen Gillan, Arthur Darvill and Alex Kingston, while showrunner Steven Moffat unravels the secrets of the scripts.
Highlights wil include learning the art of making a memorable monster, discovering how the show’s secrets are kept, and a full episode guide, with details of deleted scenes.

The Brilliant Book of Doctor Who 2012 will also contain the code for a free download of an Eleventh Doctor audiobook, Doctor Who: ‘Night of the Humans’.
Also published on 13th October will be a fully revised and updated edition of Doctor Who: The Encyclopedia by Gary Russell, priced £25, covering every episode from 2005 to the present. The release will also be accompanied by “some very exciting digital plans to be announced at the end of August”.
The second half of Series 6 kicks off with Moffat’s ‘Let’s Kill Hitler’ on Saturday 27th August.
