The Crow reboot, starring Game Of Thrones and Justice League actor Jason Momoa, is one of those movies that seems to get talked about quite a lot. For a while, it looked like the film might’ve been cancelled due to some behind-the-scenes issues, but now we have confirmation – in the form of a new release date – that the project is still pressing forward.

Sony has announced that the new version of The Crow will open in American cinemas on October 11th 2019. That’s only a year and a bit from now, which is sure to be an exciting prospect for genre fans who are eagerly anticipating this fresh telling of The Crow tale.

Corin Hardy, director of The Hallow, is helming this reboot of the 1994 supernatural revenge flick of the same name. The original film was based on a comic book by James O’Barr. Alex Proyas directed the original, and Brandon Lee starred. The film is infamous due to the fact that Lee was shot dead on set during a filming mix-up, where a real gun ended up being used as a prop.

We’ll bring you more news on Corin Hardy and Jason Momoa’s remake of The Crow as we hear it.
