A third season of BBC One’s The Musketeers has been announced, less than halfway into the current run.
The action-adventure drama has once again been re-commissioned with financial backing from BBC Worldwide and BBC America.
Season 2 continues at 9pm on Friday 13 February on BBC One.
A BBC Worldwide spokesman commented: “The Musketeers has delighted audiences at home and around the world and we’re thrilled that we’ve been able to financially support bringing a third series to the BBC, with improved value for the licence fee payer.”
The fourth episode of Season 2, ‘Emilie’, aired last week on BBC One.
