The first day appears to have been a success, with the crew tweeting on their new official Twitter feed: “Day 1. First shot 8:01am. Coffee pots are bottomless today.” and later “Day 1, smooth sailing, we’re so lucky to have such a great crew.”

Starring regulars John Barrowman and Eve Myles, alongside new cast members Mekhi Phifer and Bill Pullman, Torchwood: Miracle Day will air in July on BBC One in the UK and Starz in the US.
