There’s been chatter in recent years about a possible Tremors TV series, even as the movie franchise rumbles on with more straight to DVD and streaming productions. But there’d been no firm confirmation that Syfy – who ordered a pilot for the show last year – would press ahead with a full series.
But we’ve got something close. Kevin Bacon and Fred Ward are apparently coming back for an eight-part season that’s set to shoot this summer. And there’s at least one director who’s very, very keen on the job.
Richard Clark, who’s directed the likes of Doctor Who, Outlander and Whitechapel, has confirmed his interest on his Twitter feed. And it’s mighty encouraging what he has to say…
Tremors on ITV4. Zero CGI. Still not equalled.
