Renée Zellweger is set to star in a thriller called What/If, which is set to appear on your Netflix feed next month. Here’s the trailer, release date and everything else you need to know…
This is a “Neo-noir social thriller” series that “explores the ripple effects of what happens when acceptable people start doing unacceptable things,” according to the official Netflix press release. “The season focuses on a mysterious woman’s lucrative but dubious offer to a cash-strapped pair of San Francisco newlyweds.”
The actual listing on Netflix describes the show as “steamy” and “full of suspense.” It will consist of ten hour-long episodes.
Mike Kelley (Revenge, Swingtown) is the showrunner and writer, and he’s also an executive producer. The other exec producers are Melissa Loy, Alex Gartner, Charles Roven, Jack Rapke and, interestingly, Back To The Future director Robert Zemeckis.
