Zoë Wanamaker (My Family), Kara Tointon (EastEnders) and Hannah Tointon (Hollyoaks) have joined the cast of the new series of Mr Selfridge.

Filming on the third series of ITV’s period drama began this week.

Wanamaker will play a trouble-making Russian Princess, Marie de Bolotoff.

Leon Ockenden (Waterloo Road) also joins the cast as Princess Marie’s handsome son Serge, who will marry Harry’s eldest daughter, Rosalie.

Rosalie Selfridge will be played by Kara Tointon, with Kara’s real-life sister, Hannah Tointon, playing her rebellious sister, Violette.

Other newcomers include Sacha Parkinson (Coronation Street) as Kitty Hawkins’ ambitious younger sister and Kelly Adams (Bluestone 42, Hustle) as Harry’s new love interest, Nancy Webb.

Series 3 will pick up the story in 1919 just after the end of World War I.
