The new series of Jose Widdicombe’s cunningly-entitled sitcom Josh has been confirmed for an October debut on BBC Three. And now we have the precise start date too: Friday October 6th, with an 11.25pm transmission time.
Josh, written by Widdicombe and Tom Craine, will run for six episodes for its third series.
As the official press announcement declares of Josh, “this series follows his successes (not many) and his failures (many) as he tries to navigate the race of life. Whether it’s being dumped whilst dangling on a zip-line, tolerating an egomaniacal fellow comedian on tour or being blackmailed by a septuagenarian next-door neighbour, Josh always tries to do the right thing…and always comes off the loser”.
Co-starring are Elis James, Beattie Edmondson, Jack Dee and Jennifer Saunders. Diana Vickers, Scarlet Alice Johnson, Tom Allen, Ellie Taylor, Cariad Lloyd and Mike Bubbins are also set to appear.
