The cast for Sony’s upcoming Men in Black spin-off movie is shaping up to very interesting indeed, with Liam Neeson joining Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson in the film.

Neeson is in talks to play the head of the Men in Black‘s London branch, which is presumably how the movie will get around the fact that Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones won’t be a part of the story this time around.

Replacing them are Hemsworth and Thompson, with the Thor: Ragnorok co-stars providing the buddy-cop dynamic that made the franchise so popular in the ’90s.

Iron Man writers Matt Holloway and Art Marcum will provide the script, while The Fate of the Furious; F. Gary Gray is at the helm.

The film is currently set for release on June 14, 2019.
