Netflix has reported Lost in Space season 3 has finished filming!

With all the news of cancellations and delays, it’s nice to hear of at least one show navigating its way through the Covid-19 secure filming jungle. Lost in Space season 3 was announced back in the early part of 2020, with the news it would be the show’s final series. Mixed news for fans who wanted more, but at least it gives the show time to conclude its story. And don’t forget the huge cliffhanger at the end of season 2 — at least we get to see how one member of the Robinson family in particular deals with the revelation. We may even get to see the would-be colonists finally make it to Alpha Centauri!

Originally the intention was to get season 3 on screen in 2021; at this point we don’t know if this will still be possible. We expect studios are keen to get new seasons out in 2021 where they can, but not at the expense of quality.
