Motherland is the new upcoming comedy series from Graham Linehan and Sharon Horgan, that the BBC commissioned following a successful pilot last year.
It stars Anna Maxwell Martin, Diane Morgan, Paul Ready, Lucy Punch and Philippa Dunne. Linehan and Horgan penned the scripts along with Helen Linehan and Holly Walsh.
The show is described as “a series all about navigating the trials and traumas of motherhood, looking at the competitive and unromantic sides of parenting”, and we’ve now got a premiere date for it.
Motherland will kick off on Tuesday November 7th on BBC Two. It’s got a 10pm start date on the channel. Six episodes have been made for the new run.
