New streaming service Quibi is planning to take the reality format one step further…

A new home makeover show is coming to the soon-to-be-launched Quibi streaming platform on 6th April, and this one is a little bit different.

Indeed, Murder House Flip will finally(??) bring together two of our biggest TV obsessions: true crime and home renovation, as historical scenes of horror are given a lick of paint and a revamp by a “colourful cast of forensic specialists, spiritual healers and high-end renovation experts, who will uncover the crimes, shocking secrets and scandalous history of the homes.”

Yes, because this always turns out so well in horror movies!

The series, which will manifest as a run of 10-minute episodes on Quibi, is being brought to us by Josh Berman (CSI), Chris King (Penny Dreadful) and author Katherine Ramsland. Berman says the makeovers are designed to bring “healing and solace to families living in the aftermath of tragic events by transforming dark places into healthy spaces.”
