Only Murders in the Building adds Meryl Streep to the cast for Season 3

The multi-Oscar winning Meryl Streep joins the podcasters of the Arconia building for their latest Only Murders investigation. 

After the well-received second season of Hulu’s Only Murders in the Building, which streams on Disney+ in the UK, the elves at CultBox Towers have been eagerly awaiting news of Season 3.

With the final act of the second run dropping a time jump, we are primed for the arrival (and death) of Paul Rudd’s actor Ben Glenroy. Now, thanks to a social media drop from star Selena Gomez, we know about another, impossibly high-profile guest star.

While Only Murders has enjoyed a number of impressive guest star turns, from the likes of Shirley MacLaine, Jane Lynch and Sting, the addition of Meryl Streep to the cast feels like another level entirely. However, despite her impressive film career, Streep is no stranger to television; she starred in Season 2 of HBO’s Big Little Lies and also had a role in Angels in America. She is also part of AppleTV+’s forthcoming Extrapolations too.
