Hulu have fixed a date, with a triple-premiere for Only Murders season 5. 

Thanks to a swift recommission, as season 4 aired, we’ve known about fifth run of Only Murders for some time.

As is tradition, season 4 ended with another murder for the trio to solve. This time, the victim was the Arconia Building’s stalwart doorman Lester.

Here’s the synopsis for season 5…

After their beloved doorman, Lester, dies under suspicious circumstances, Charles, Oliver and Mabel refuse to believe it was an accident. Their investigation plunges them into the shadowy corners of New York and beyond — where the trio uncovers a dangerous web of secrets connecting powerful billionaires, old-school mobsters and the mysterious residents of the Arconia. The trio discovers a deeper divide between their storied city they thought they knew and the new New York evolving around them — one where the old mob fights to hold on as newer, even more dangerous players emerge.

Once again, the show stars Steve Martin, Martin Short, Selena Gomez and Michael Cyril Creighton. They’re joined by returning guest stars Meryl Streep, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Richard Kind, Nathan Lane, Téa Leoni and Beanie Feldstein.

New faces include Keegan-Michael Key, Logan Lerman, Jermaine Fowler, Christoph Waltz, Renée Zellweger, Bobby Cannavale and Dianne Wiest

The series comes from co-creators and writers Steve Martin & John Hoffman. It’s produced by 20th Television, a part of Disney Television.

Only Murders in the Building season 5 begins on Hulu with a triple-premiere on Tuesday September 9th, 2025. Weekly episodes then follow to round out the 10-part run.
