Partygate – Channel 4 announces docudrama cast

The Partygate documentary centres on two fictional Special Advisors played by Ophelia Lovibond and Georgie Henley.

With investigations into Downing Street social events during the pandemic still going strong, Channel 4 are airing a factual drama.

Based on meticulous research, Partygate tells the story through dramatic re-enactments, interweaved with archive news footage and documentary interviews. The aim is to “juxtapose the revelry inside the nation’s seat of power with the hardship and sacrifice being experienced across the rest of the country.”
