The Red Notice teaser trailer has dropped as Netflix starts the publicity for its dearest ever film
Starring Gal Gadot, Ryan Reynolds and The Rock (Dwayne Johnson), Red Notice is described as costing $200 million. It’s the kind of budget with associate with CGI epics, yet the teaser shows little evidence of where the money has been spent (barring costumes and set design).
If you don’t know, the plot is:
An Interpol-issued Red Notice is a global alert to hunt and capture the world’s most wanted. But when a daring heist brings together the FBI’s top profiler (Johnson) and two rival criminals (Gadot, Reynolds), there’s no telling what will happen…
Johnson character is named John Hartley, Gadot plays Sarah Black and Reynolds plays Nolan Booth. The film was written and directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber.
If, like us, you’re first thought is to wonder if they’ve made up Red Notices for the film, we did the checking. They are a real thing, as you can verify from Interpol itself. By way of a statistic, there are (at time of writing) 66,370 valid Red Notices, of which some 7,669 are public. In 2020 Interpol issued over 11,000! That’s a lot more film opportunities!
You can catch the Red Notice teaser trailer now, and get ready for more publicity ahead of release on November 12.
